La maison était parfaite, typique de l’île, joliment décorée. Plein de jolies ballades dans les environs. Claire et Michel nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nous avons même été invités à la fête du village traditionnelle! Superbe séjour à Andros! Encore merci à toi et Michel! Superbes vacances à Andros.

Everything one needs for a minimal Greek summer. I loved the emerald green colour of the bedroom and the endless view from the kitchen window and the back terrace. Only ten minutes drve from the magnificent Chora of Andros. Claire and Filipe are great hosts. I hope I will come back one day

The best choice to relax and have the best time between trips when in Andros. Claire and Michel were wonderful and very helpful and the house is perfectly cute and private among the trees. Although you are very close to Chora, here you get away from any noise and you are able to chill among the olive trees. First choice whenever i go back to Andros, mille merci Claire et Michel!

We had such a great time at Andros and that was because of the island itself and also because of Claire’s place. So beautifully decorated with Claire’s exquisite taste, so atmospheric and artistic! Having nobody around but trees and birds was such an amazing experience, a real meditation! Claire and Michelle were simply the best hosts – so interesting people, helpful, friendly and distinctive at the same time. And Claire’s marmalade so delicious! We will definitely come back, we can’t wait to do so! Claire et Michelle merci beaucoup pour tout!

The place is fantastic, Claire and his husband welcomed us in a charming way and provided everything we needed: mobility, recommendations, friends guides … We are delighted with Andros and La Masison de Claire, and we are already thinking about our next visit 🙂 It is definitely the best accommodation you can wish for!

Accueil situé idéalement pour les personnes désireuses de parcourir l’île à pied. Cette île s’y prête fort bien – les sentiers sont très bien balisés. Accueil situé idéalement si l’on recherche le calme et la verdure. Des tavernes situées à proximité (à pied) sont très bien. L’arrêt de bus pour aller aussi bien à Chora qu’à Gavrio se situe non loin. Sinon revenir en taxi comme le font beaucoup les habitants n’est vraiment pas un problème. Si besoin Claire n’hésite pas à proposer ses services – Son accueil est très chaleureux et serviable. Son logement est agencé avec goût.

Cet accueil est idéalement placé pour les ballades proposées sur l’île d’Andros – Carrefour de plusieurs ballades. Des tavernes très agréables se trouvent non loin et Claire nous a gentiment véhiculé si besoin. Lieu calme et reposant. L’accueil fut chaleureux et enthousiaste. Il ne faut surtout pas hésiter même si cet hébergement n’est pas situé à Chora même. Nous recommandons.

I had a great time at Claire’s house, it is very beautiful, quiet and pitoresque in the middle of nowhere! Love the see and the surrounding, nice village! Claire and her husband were really friendly and generous . I think I come back soon 🙂

I think it had already been said by another reviewer but I will try to say it also that this space is so special and in a relatively small space, has everything you need in an artistic, warm and sophisticated interior design. You can feel the thoughtfulness and attention in all the details such as an oversized window that looks out right from the bed into the olive trees. For those wanting to have a more intimate and pastoral experience of beautiful Andros, I would highly recommend Claire’s place. A short walk up a traditional marble path brings you to a small village well known for it’s gushing water Spring and tavernas nestled inside old, enormous Plane trees. On the property there are fruit trees and figs and olive trees and at night, quiet with the punctuation of sheep bays. It’s a slower pace, and if you rent a car or scooter you can have access to all that Andros offers but start and end your day in a tranquil atmosphere.

The house is so cute. Claire is a wonderful person and it felt like our home. The village near the house is magical and it is so close to Chora which is the perfect place to visit in Andros. Our holiday was fantastic .
